IF YOU ARE STILL IN THE PROCESS OF RAISING CHILDREN, BE AWARE. THE TINY FINGERPRINTS THAT SHOW UP ON ALMOST EVERY NEWLY CLEANED SURFACE, THE TOYS SCATTERED AROUND THE HOUSE, THE PILES AND PILES OF LAUNDRY LYING AROUND TO BE TACKLED, WILL DISAPPEAR ALL TOO SOON. AND, YOU WILL, TO YOUR SURPRISE, MISS THEM PROFOUNDLY. THOMAS S. MONSON

In a RUT

I feel like this week, my mind has been on a lot more then it usually is. I have expectations for the trip we are going on, and I hope that I am not over thinking/planning it. I am afraid it has already come and gone past that point, but none the less! I have been thinking about all the other things I want to accomplish before the end of the year, and while I am motivated TODAY, to do some of them, there are other things that need to get done, more pressing and important things. Do you ever feel like life is passing SO SLOW, then before you know it, your are saying, "That went by SO FAST"? Anticipation and surprises is not something I have ever done well with. Planning this trip has taken my mind off the baby issue, but when we get home, I know it is going right back to BABY MAKIN MODE! YIKES! At least 2 times a day you will catch me saying, "After we get home from Disney...." When we get home, what will we have to look forward to? Or should I say, What will we have to look forward tutu? We are definitely going to have to jump on the Alphabet Train, the Shapes Train, the Counting Train, am I missing any? Oh, the Spell your Name train! Double Yikes, Batman! Precious and memorable moments of my week so far...

Our friends Troy and Robi stopped by the other night. They have three kids, and they are so fun, cute and adorable! Olivia has the cutest freckles, and I pray that Nora gets them just like hers. I had to take a picture. Her and her brother Nick were doing the "STAR" in the back yard. you know, just like on the Olympics! (I had NO IDEA they did this at the Olympics! Hmph?)
Joel found this guy on a post in our yard. He was freaking me out. Literally staring at me for a long time. If I would move, he would follow me. I love living in the country. As long as he stays in his natural environment, I will be his friend. You cross my threshold, there is going to be a problem!
Seriously... this is not the first time we have caught love bugs in the "act". Seriously!
We have been testing out the tutus. It melts my heart, and her daddy's too!

Great pics...the girl with the freckles is adorable!!!! And the bug pics..fabulous. Stop over thinking Disney...it's going to be 10 million times more than you ever wished it could be. I can't wait to hear all about it. And yes when you get back...it will be back to reality but I'm going to help keep your mind off of reality. I promise! We've got all kinds of great things to look forward to...sewing, cooking, photog, Halloween, and the day after Halloween when I can start prepping you're Christmas Spirit! It's going to be great...and before you've had much time to think about it. You'll be preggers my friend. I think your eggo is waiting to be preggo with it's best friend...what do you think?? I'm thinking Dec or Jan???? Our kids are going to Best Friends I just know it! Love you!

Hey Kirst! Have such a blast at Disney! Your pics are great! I think you're much better than you give yourself credit for. FYI: I love your blog, but I have a really hard time reading the white print on the turquoise background...maybe it's just me, I don't know, but it's a thought.

Many times the anticipation of something is much better than the real thing. That is why I start Christmas prep so early, it is so much fun getting ready - the real day goes by too fast. Disney on the other hand, is wondeful preparing and even better being there. Have a wonderful trip!

Those are some fantiastic pics of your girl! I really love the one 2nd from the bottom, where she's got the big big eyes.

Good luck with the baby making! That's always an emotional process, but it's where we're at too, though with PCOS it'll likely take me a while to get anywhere.

This life is full of wonderment and joy. I thank Father every day for tutus, pooh blankets and beautiful baby eyes that look back at me with perfect love and a reflection of my wife’s eyes, sky blue on a perfect summer day. These days we will love for all time.
