IF YOU ARE STILL IN THE PROCESS OF RAISING CHILDREN, BE AWARE. THE TINY FINGERPRINTS THAT SHOW UP ON ALMOST EVERY NEWLY CLEANED SURFACE, THE TOYS SCATTERED AROUND THE HOUSE, THE PILES AND PILES OF LAUNDRY LYING AROUND TO BE TACKLED, WILL DISAPPEAR ALL TOO SOON. AND, YOU WILL, TO YOUR SURPRISE, MISS THEM PROFOUNDLY. THOMAS S. MONSON

"Honest to BLOG"

Hello there, and for reals... this is our new and official BLOG! Last week my very special and loving grandfather passed away. I was so blessed to have him in my life as long as I did. He gave, and did so much for his family. He was the first of my four grandparents to pass away. I feel so lucky to have such a strong relationship with each of them.

While it was a weekend filled with so many emotions, love and grattitude was the most filled emotion. My grandparents have 5 children. Between the five of them, there are 15 grand-children, and between the 15 grand children, there are 20 great grand-children. All 5 of the kids, 14 of the grand children, and 8 of the great grand children made it to the funeral. It was so great to get together as a fmaily, to celebrate the life of a very happy, and generous man. It wasn't a sad weekend, it was a very glorious weekend.

I saw cousins this weekend that I hadn't seen in over 10 years. As great as it was to see everyone, it was sad to me that we haven't kept in better touch. Alas... my attempt to connect, and reconnect with my relatives. I hope that we can all stay better connected, with the technology that has been given to us.

As for Grandma, we love you, and will pray for you. We will miss the fun that grandpa brought into our lives, but will always remember him. Thank you for the courage and strength you have that keeps us motivated to see him again someday.
