IF YOU ARE STILL IN THE PROCESS OF RAISING CHILDREN, BE AWARE. THE TINY FINGERPRINTS THAT SHOW UP ON ALMOST EVERY NEWLY CLEANED SURFACE, THE TOYS SCATTERED AROUND THE HOUSE, THE PILES AND PILES OF LAUNDRY LYING AROUND TO BE TACKLED, WILL DISAPPEAR ALL TOO SOON. AND, YOU WILL, TO YOUR SURPRISE, MISS THEM PROFOUNDLY. THOMAS S. MONSON

A Wedding, Funeral, ER visit, and as much Tylenol as I am permitted to take!

Before I go any further... and because I can't keep it in ANY MORE!!!

I was going to wait another week to post about it, but I think we are ok. I have my first doc visit tomorrow, and hopefully after that, I can be more excited. But we are pretty excited right now.

I haven't blogged in a very long time, and I have lots to talk about. Today, I will be focusing on my photography blog. When I get too exhausetd with editing, I will pop on over here, and tell some stories. K?

Our BIG announcement...

We sold our house!!! Well, we didn't really sell it, but we leased it for 3 years, with the option to buy. The buyers/renters seem very interested, and we are very excited! While we are in Michigan next week, we are closing the books on that house! Hopefully for ever, but at least for 3 years.

Sorry, if you thought we had a better announcement... I'll try to come up with a better one next time! Also, sorry about the lack of blogging lately. I have been messing around with the great camera that has been been entrusted in my care, and also with Photoshop, Actions, Templates... all that fun stuff. I wish I had something fun to post about it! All I have right now is a HEADACHE!

Haystacks for Dinner... Hawaiian Style!

I love this meal, and this is the first time I have ever made it. What have I been waiting for? I am pretty sure this is a mormon meal, so let me share with you the bliss known as Hawaiian Haystacks. Super easy...

cooked rice
1 can cream of chicken soup mixed with a half of can of chicken stock, and 1 lb of cooked diced chicken thrown in
any topping you want, we chose: red peppers, orange cheese, crispy Asian noodles, yellow pineapple, and green onions.

They are yummy to eat, pretty to photograph, great learning colors tool for the kids, and well, the gravy was so good, our kid only wanted that, and straight out of the pot. Not a good habit to get into. Get creative, and do whatever you want. You'll feel like you took the night off when you cook this meal. And it's way better than pizza!

Ahhh... the innocence...

Nora has been growing quite fond of her new friend. This is the first time she has hung out with a boy day after day. And this kid is ALL BOY! Gabe is a BABE though! Yesterday we met up with them at the aquarium, Nora said, "Gabe is so cute! He is my shavorite, shrend!" They are so cute!

Mr & Mrs Smith

Saturday our "new" friends took us on an adventure to the beach!!! It is a military beach, with light houses, huge boulder walls, and a photographers dream! In fact while we were there, we saw a wedding being photographed, and also a family portrait session. So, I pulled our new friends away from play, to snap a few shots. I am playing around with my photoshop, and having LOTS of fun, and LOTS of frusteration! Part of the problem is the man in the house. He like to sit over my shoulder, and it makes me all sweaty, and bothered. And not in a good way! So, when he took off for work today, I did my own thing! Here are our new friends. Paige, Garrett, and lil Gabe. A future marine for sure! Picture 086 copy
