IF YOU ARE STILL IN THE PROCESS OF RAISING CHILDREN, BE AWARE. THE TINY FINGERPRINTS THAT SHOW UP ON ALMOST EVERY NEWLY CLEANED SURFACE, THE TOYS SCATTERED AROUND THE HOUSE, THE PILES AND PILES OF LAUNDRY LYING AROUND TO BE TACKLED, WILL DISAPPEAR ALL TOO SOON. AND, YOU WILL, TO YOUR SURPRISE, MISS THEM PROFOUNDLY. THOMAS S. MONSON

Picture of the Day… Day 14

I know I said I would blog about my garden, so here it goes. It is pretty sad, so I don’t want to go into too much details. Joel and Nora have spent that past 2 months, putting lots of heart and soul into their garden. Joel  loves to spend time watering it, and Nora loves to play outside while she watched daddy labor. We were very excited to grow “pie making pumpkins”, peppers, beans, edemamne, watermelon, sunflowers, and corn. Not too sure what happened, but we noticed a white fungal disease growing on the pumpkin leaves. Then a rabbit came and ate all the bean and pepper plants. Then the pumpkins got a white fungus. So, it is kind of sad. It could have been a thriving garden. The stuff that didn’t get eaten has been growing like crazy, but I am sure it will not produce good fruit… *SIGH*… maybe beach pictures tomorrow?

I love that the expression on Nora's face says it all. You are a good photographer to capture that emotion:) Bummer about your garden:(
