IF YOU ARE STILL IN THE PROCESS OF RAISING CHILDREN, BE AWARE. THE TINY FINGERPRINTS THAT SHOW UP ON ALMOST EVERY NEWLY CLEANED SURFACE, THE TOYS SCATTERED AROUND THE HOUSE, THE PILES AND PILES OF LAUNDRY LYING AROUND TO BE TACKLED, WILL DISAPPEAR ALL TOO SOON. AND, YOU WILL, TO YOUR SURPRISE, MISS THEM PROFOUNDLY. THOMAS S. MONSON

72 Hour Kits!

I was given the great calling of Camp Leader in my ward at church for the Young Women (girls from 12-18)! So excited!!! We started to raise money for the girls to pay to go, and here is how we are doing it....

These are 72 hour kits. They include everything in the picture and it comes packaged in a #10 can. Each kit sells for $15.00. They make great Christmas presents, missionary packages, college students, or just to have in case of a natural disaster. If you are interested in helping out, and want to help yourself too, just leave me a comment, or send me an email. We do shipping too! I have a paypal account for those who live far away.

What a great idea!! Could you e.mail the contents to me? Did you take ward donations for the contents or just purchase everything outright?? We've got one fundraiser planned, but I know we'll need more. We're having a "Tot-Drop to Christmas Shop". We picked a Saturday in Dec. where parents can drop off their kids at the ward building and do Christmas shopping all day for $2hr per kid. We're very excited to do it, but afraid it won't make too much money in this bad economy and our very "humble" ward. We'll see, but I'm always looking for new ideas. Thanks for posting yours.
